| Contraindications There are a variety of conditions that cannot be helped by spinal decompression therapy. There are also some health conditions that can prevent a person from being eligible for treatment on the SpineMED® table. These conditions include but are not limited to: severe Osteoporosis, paraplegia, pregnancy, aortic aneurysm, spinal fractures, spinal bone infection, Spondylolisthesis of Grade II or above, congenital pars defects, Ankylosing Spondylitis, spinal cancer or tumors. Decompression therapy cannot be performed on any person that has had spinal surgery where any form of metal plates or screws have been attached to the vertebrae. |
